I was always amazed and totally impressed at the speed Dennis would zip through the Times crossword, he made it seem so effortless - I was always in awe!

We played guitar and sang a lot over the earlier years and he would pop round once a week to have a bite and wouls sing and play songs with Linda and myself and we would occasionally play at The Tab as well.

I was surprised to see that Dennis went to Lyndhurst Grove school as I went there too but we must have been in different years so I don’t recall him there - a pity.
